Modesto Milling provides different types of poultry feeds to meet different lifecycle requirements. Certified organic herbs are used in all our poultry formulas. Many of our products take advantage of the powerful properties of garlic, anise oil, horseradish, and juniper berry.

Organic Chick Starter and Poultry Grower Crumbles #6024

Use: Chick starter and grower crumbles have a minimum of 22% protein and are used to start out baby chicks. Use this formula for the whole 4 to 6-week grow out period.

* Organic Poultry Broiler Finisher Pellets #6100

Use: During the final period of feeding meat birds, beyond 5 to 6 weeks of age, you can switch to these finisher pellets, which are formulated with more corn, to satisfy the energy needs of the broiler. This is also a great grow out feed for turkeys.

Use: Layer pellets are formulated to be a complete feed, but are also useful as part of a pasture-based diet. Layer pellets can be fed starting at 15-18 weeks of age.

Use: Scratch is used for added energy for egg laying while birds are on pasture. Made with cracked corn and whole hard red winter wheat, this mix is great for keeping the birds warm when the weather is cold.
